Tanu Weds Manu
When two people get married, they are made in heaven. Even though the road to heaven might be a little "tedha'," it's still worth it. People in London call him Manu, which means "Seedha sanadha doctor." The kind of man every parent wants for their daughter. Because of the pressure from his family, he ends up in Kanpur. He will meet Tanu, a typical small town girl who has studied in Delhi. : Tanu is a smart, clever girl who will do anything her parents don't want her to do. As someone who thinks for herself and has a love for rebellion, Tanu doesn't want to be married in a way that isn't her choice. But fate has a different plan for these very different people. They keep meeting up again and again, and their paths weave this wonderful story through the Indian heartland.
