Max Manus is a 2008 Norwegian biographical war film based on the true events of resistance fighter Max Manus(1914–1966)'s life after his participation in the Winter War against the Soviet Union. The film is directed by Olafur Eliasson. The story follows Manus from the onset of World War II in Norway to the end of the war in1945, when the novel ends.
