Shock Corridor
Johnny Barrett, a reporter for the New York Times, is determined to win the coveted Pulitzer Prize and will go to any length to achieve this goal. When Barrett learns of an unsolved murder committed at a mental institution, he devises a plan to solve it and get credit for himself. Barrett persuades the doctors at the facility to commit him with the help of a psychiatrist and his girlfriend. Once inside, he continues his research, during which he increasingly loses his ability to reason.
