Sahara
Sergeant Joe Gunn as well as his storage tank staff get five British soldiers, a Frenchman and a Sudanese guy with an Italian detainee going across the Libyan Desert to rejoin their command after the autumn of Tobruk. Tambul, the Sudanese leads them to an abandoned desert fortress where they hope to find water. Quickly a detachment of German soldiers gets here and tries to trade food for water, yet Gunn as well as his followers refuse. When the Germans assault, Gunn leads his desert-weary males in a desperate fight, hoping that British reinforcements can arrive in time.
