Robinson Crusoe

As a result of killing his friend over the love of Mary, Robinson Crusoe escapes Britain on a ship. Due to a violent ocean storm, he is forced to abandon his ship and get stuck on an unknown island. Once alone on the island, Crusoe strives to make a meager living by fishing and hunting, until he comes across Friday, a tribesman that Crusoe rescues from being sacrificed. Crusoe is overjoyed to have found a companion, but he soon finds himself in a fight against a tribe that is using the island to sacrifice tribesmen to their gods. Despite their cultural and religious differences, their relationship evolves from one of master and slave to one of mutually respected companionship over time.
