Metallica & San Francisco Symphony: S&M2

When Metallica's pioneering S&M shows and CD were recorded with the San Francisco Symphony 20 years ago, Trafalgar Releasing is releasing S&M2. The San Francisco Symphony and Michael Tilson Thomas will reunite for a segment of the program, beginning off the famed conductor's farewell season in the city. In addition to celebrating the opening of the state-of-the-art Chase Center, an important addition to the city's waterfront, the programs were recorded in real time on September 6th and 8th. Fans will be able to enjoy orchestral renditions of new songs as well as Metallica classics from the 1999 S&M release thanks to this theatrical release, which will be shown to millions of people across the world.
