Tora-san, Wish You Were Here
This is the 50th film in the Tora-san series, and it celebrates the franchise's 50th anniversary by utilizing both previously shot material and brand new material in the same film. The grown-up version of Mitsuo, who is Tora-nephew, san's has a chance encounter with Izumi, his first love and the woman he had previously committed to marrying. Also making their return are the well-known staff members of the Kurumaya Cafe, which Tora-family san's operated in Shibamata. Whenever people get together to reminisce with their long-lost pals, Tora-san invariably comes up as the subject of conversation at some point...
