The devastating Reaper virus has spread throughout the United Kingdom, infecting millions of people and murdering hundreds of thousands of them. Authorities violently and successfully quarantine the country, but the virus resurfaces in a major city three decades later. It is imperative that an elite group of specialists be despatched to the still-quarantined country in order to find a cure by whatever means necessary. The unit is cut off from the rest of the world and must battle its way through a landscape that has turned into a waking nightmare.
