Doomsday Castle
Doomsday Castle is a reality television series on National Geographic Channel that depicts the lives of Brenton Bruns and his 10 children as they prepare for the end of the world in the South Carolina castle he has constructed. Bruns claims he constructed a fortress to withstand an electromagnetic pulse, given that a castle can exist without power and defend itself from marauders. Since 1999, when it began as a bunker, it has been continually expanded. Bruns claims that his property is riddled with booby traps and that his neighbors are armed survivalists. Bruns and his castle were first introduced in the Doomsday Preppers episode There Is No Fair Fight.
