Alex & Emma
Alex Sheldon, played by Luke Wilson, has one month to finish his book. He won't get paid if he doesn't. And if that happens, angry Mafia people to whom he owes money will come looking for him. Alex hires Emma Dinsmore (Kate Hudson), a typist, so he can get things done faster. He then starts dictating his novel to her. The book is about a doomed romance between a character named Polina Delacroix and a character named Alex (Sophie Marceau). But when Alex starts to like Emma, his work changes.
