The original Japanese animated television series Naruto has been continued with the release of Naruto Shippuden. The plot centers on Naruto Uzumaki, now an older and somewhat more matured version of himself, and his mission to rescue his comrade Sasuke Uchiha from the grasp of Orochimaru, a Shinobi who resembles a snake. After a period of two and a half years, Naruto finally returns to his home village of Konoha. He immediately begins to put his ambitions to work, despite the fact that this will not be an easy task because he has amassed a number of enemies, including some that are more dangerous, such as the shinobi organization known as Akatsuki.
