Fried follows the employees of "Seriously Fried Chicken," a struggling fast food restaurant in Croydon. We follow the group as they navigate the greasy world of nugget vending under the watchful eye of Mary, their perennially hopeful but desperately ineffective branch manager. Derek, the restaurant's disgruntled assistant manager, wants her job "because it was a Wimpy." Then there's geeky youngster Joe, who only has eyes for Amara; and the man who's decided they're best friends-foul-mouthed and endlessly self-absorbed Ed; and the elder, always angry Shontal. Every week, the staff must deal with clients, coworkers, and the lingering odor of oil.
