Ken and his mother had recently relocated from Kansas. He converses with a young lady named Julie, unaware that her boyfriend Tom is extremely possessive of her. Tom is currently studying karate under the tutelage of Lee, a sensei whose brother was assassinated by a rookie cop named Billy. Billy has since taken on the position of janitor at the school where Ken, Julie, and Tom attend. When Ken is beaten by Tom for speaking to Julie again, Billy assists him by teaching him how to defend himself, which culminates in a duel between student vs. student and sensei vs. sensei.
