Hurricane
Polish fighter pilots who found themselves battling for the freedom of their home country in foreign skies tell their story here. In this film, which is seen through the eyes of a Polish fighter ace and adventurer, we see how the Poles, who have been forced throughout Europe by the German war machine, ultimately make their last stand. They became a significant component in the legend of 'The Few' after flying Hurricanes for the Royal Air Force over Britain. They hoped that by defending Great Britain from Nazi invasion, they would be able to preserve the dream of a free Poland alive. But they were up against the strength of the Luftwaffe.
