At the dawn of the Reign of terror, gastronomy still is a prerogative of the aristocrats. When gifted stove Manceron is disregarded by the Duke of Chamfort, he loses the taste for cooking. Back in his lodge, his meeting with the strange Louise gets him back on his feet. While they both feed a wish of vengeance versus the Duke, they decide to create the really first dining establishment in France.
