Worst Week is a CBS television series that aired from September 22, 2008 to June 6, 2009. The sitcom The Worst Week of My Life inspired the series. Fox adapted the show for American viewers under the title Worst Week of My Life, but a series never materialized after the pilot was produced. The show aired on CBS Mondays at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT, immediately following Two and a Half Men. The debut drew 11 million people but lost a third of its ratings from the previous night. With the sixth episode, ratings plummeted to a low of 8.4 million people before progressively increasing. They peaked at 12.12 million viewers with the eleventh episode, but then dropped. On February 16, 2009, the season finale, titled "The Epidural," aired. The series is now airing on RTÉ Two in Ireland on Sundays at 3:40 a.m. CBS revealed their new season schedule and canceled Worst Week on May 20, 2009. On June 6, 2009, a previously unaired episode titled "The Party" aired. Worst Week takes place in Manassas, Virginia.
