Wheels
Based on the 1971 novel by Arthur Hailey, Wheels is a film about the automobile business and its day-to-day stresses. Numerous contemporary themes, such as race relations, corporate politics, and business ethics, are reflected in the storylines. The motor firm depicted in the novel is a thinly veiled version of Ford Motor Company, and several of the characters are recognizable to Ford employees.
