Warrior Baek Dong Soo

Ji Chang-wook, Yoo Seung-ho, Yoon So-yi, Shin Hyun-bin, Choi Min-soo, and Jun Kwang-ryul star in Warrior Baek Dong-soo. It aired on SBS for 29 episodes from July 4 to October 10, 2011 at 21:55 on Mondays and Tuesdays. The series is based on Lee Jae-2010 heon's comic Honorable Baek Dong-soo and tells how he became a swordsman and folk hero in Joseon. King Jeongjo commissioned Muyedobotongji, a major martial arts text, and Baek was one of the three authors. Set against the Joseon political maneuverings of King Jeongjo, the Qing ambassador, the Japanese swordsman Kenzo, and the assassin's guild Heuksa Chorong, the series is a coming-of-age drama about brotherhood, friendship, devotion, and honor.
