The series was initially broadcast on ITV between the years 1973 and 1979. It was produced by Thames Television and broadcast on that network. In1992, a new version of the series was created, and Roger Price served as the series' executive producer. A third iteration of the show, which ran from 2001 through 2007 and was produced as a series of audio plays for Big Finish Productions, went back to the show's roots in terms of both its concept and its cast of characters. In the United States, a version that will air on The CW Network and is titled The Tomorrow People will debut during the 2013–14 television season.
