The lives of elite agents Bodie and Doyle from Britain's Criminal Intelligence5, as well as their controller, George Cowley. Combating terrorism and other high-profile crimes was one of CI5's primary objectives during its existence. Cowley, a tough individual who had previously worked for MI5, personally selected each member of his team. Doyle is a more open-minded liberal who comes to CI5 from the ordinary police force. In contrast, Bodie is a cynical ex-SAS paratrooper and mercenary whose tendency inclined to controlled violence. Bodie's sidekick, Doyle, comes to CI5 from the regular police force. Their relationship is frequently problematic; yet, both of them are the most accomplished men in their respective fields, and Cowley has always given the most difficult cases to them.
