The Night Shift
The story of three people who work at a Shell gas station on Laugavegur in Reykjavik during the night shift is told in the Icelandic drama Naeturvaktin (The Night Shift). The three-man night shift is led by the eccentric Georg Bjarnfrearson, who is a dedicated Marxist, vegan, and has a deep passion for all things Swedish. lafur Ragnar, an ordinary worker who is a good-natured and sincere individual with aspirations of attaining fame and fortune. And Danel Svarsson, who, having previously pursued a career in medicine, has now joined the squad. What the three guys don't realize is that because of this assignment, their lives will be profoundly and inextricably intertwined together forever.
