Amy Poehler, Cynthia True, and Erik Wiese co-created the Nickelodeon television series The Mighty B! Bessie Higgenbottom is the protagonist of the series. She is an eager Honeybee girl scout who believes she will become The Mighty B if she gets every Honeybee badge. Bessie lives in San Francisco with her single mother Hilary, brother Ben, and dog Happy. Poehler supplies the voice for Bessie, who is partially based on a character she portrayed with the improvisational comedy groups Second City and Upright Citizens Brigade.
