Emma, a sweet foster kid who just can't seem to get a break, discovers she has an identical twin sister, Sutton, who, unlike Emma, was adopted by wealthy parents and appears to have the perfect life. Sutton persuades Emma to live with her for a few days while she follows a lead on their birth mother after their first meeting. Emma is initially delighted to help her sister, but she quickly finds that Sutton has vanished and may be in danger. Emma must now decide whether to tell Sutton's family the truth about her twin sister's whereabouts and why they were separated in the first place, or risk her own safety.
