The Island

For the purposes of recording a reality program, eight strangers—four males and four females—are dropped off on an undeveloped tropical island. Their mission is to force the challengers provided by the organizers into a battle for the affection of the spectators, with the promise that the winner will get a significant financial reward at the competition's conclusion. Everything, however, is about to alter in a significant way after the disaster that takes place on the yacht with the film team. Heroes enter the fray without even being aware that no one is trying to kill them; rather, they are simply players in a spectacle that is not actually taking place. However, they will not be aware of it right away... Their time spent on the island, together with their attempts to make their way back to civilization, will give rise to a number of amusing and heartwarming tales.
