The Herculoids

The Herculoids is a Saturday-morning American animated cartoon television series conceived and designed by Alex Toth and produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions. The series premiered on CBS on September 9, 1967. The Herculoids ran from September 6, 1968, to September 6, 1969. In 1981, eleven new episodes were made for the Space Stars television series. The plots are grounded in science fiction and have a narrative structure and subject matter comparable to Jonny Quest and Space Ghost. This series takes place on the faraway planet Amzot. The name "Amzot" was originally stated in "The Molten Monsters of Moltar" and "Time Creatures" episodes of Space Ghost, respectively.
