The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice is a British television show produced by the BBC and recorded at The London Studios as a spin-off from the reality television hit series The Great British Bake Off, which airs on BBC One. Jo Brand is joined each week by three different celebrity Bake Off fans. With dialogue, unreleased footage from the BBC One show, and an interview with the week's eliminated baker, Jo shines a focus on the good, the bad, and the soggy bottoms from the week's episode. The studio audience is asked to bring in a home-baked item from the week's baking topic, whether bread, pastry, or cakes, and viewers are encouraged to contribute images of their efforts as well.
