The Fixer

The Fixer is an ITV drama series produced by Kudos. It is set in modern-day Britain and chronicles the story of John Mercer, an ex-British Special Forces soldier who was arrested by police for killing his aunt and uncle after discovering his sister, Jess Mercer, was abused by them. John Mercer gets released from jail early to work as a government-backed assassin for a covert state security unit, where he is tasked with executing criminals and rogue police officers who are beyond the reach of the law.
