The Dick Van Dyke Show

The Dick Van Dyke Show is an American sitcom that ran from October 3, 1961, to June 1, 1966, on CBS. Carl Reiner made the show, and Dick Van Dyke, Rose Marie, Morey Amsterdam, and Mary Tyler Moore were on it. It was about Rob Petrie, a TV comedy writer, and his life at work and at home. Reiner, Bill Persky, and Sam Denoff all worked together to make the show. Earle Hagen wrote the music for the show's theme tune. 15 Emmy Awards were given to the show. In 1997, "Coast-to-Coast Big Mouth" and "It May Look Like a Walnut" were ranked as the 8th and 15th best episodes of all time by TV Guide. It was number 13 on TV Guide's list of the 50 best TV shows of all time in 2002.
