The Crossing

A community in the United States sees an increase in the number of asylum seekers who are refugees from a war-torn country. The only country these individuals come from is the United States, and the conflict they are trying to escape will not happen for another 250 years. This allegory is driven by a local sheriff with a checkered history, a federal agent, and a mother who is looking for her missing refugee daughter. At the story's core is a shocking conspiracy.
