The Alice
The Alice was an Australian television drama series developed by Justin Monjo and Robyn Sinclair that aired from 2005 to 2007. The action took place in the central Australian outback city of Alice Springs. The show began as a popular television movie that was then turned into a regular television series. The series proved to be less successful than expected, and the Nine Network decided to discontinue it on September 28, 2005, following a precipitous decrease in its ratings. The complete series, as well as the original television movie, has since been made available on DVD.
