The story of two teenage girls who find they were mistakenly exchanged in the hospital as neonates. Bay Kennish grew up in a rich environment with two parents and a sibling, but Daphne Vasquez, who lost her hearing at a young age due to meningitis, grew up in a working-class area with a single mother. Things come to a head when the two families meet and try to learn how to coexist for the sake of the girls.
