Still the King
This is the story of Vernon Brownmule, better known by the stage as "Burnin' Vernon," who, after 20 years in the obscurity of country music, has re-emerged as one of the best Elvis impersonators in town. As part of his sentence for smashing into an old country church sign while on a drunken bender, he is ordered to return and work as the church's handyman. It isn't long before the congregation's new minister tries to convince him that they have a 15-year-old daughter of his own that he hasn't met.
