Sinbad

In a fist fight, Sinbad mistakenly murders the formidable Lord Akbari's son. Sinbad's brother is slaughtered in front of his eyes as payment for the blood debt. Sinbad manages to flee, but his grandmother curses him for his brother's death with a magical talisman. Sinbad cannot stay on land for more than one day due to the curse; if he does, the talisman will choke him to death. This limitation on remaining on land leads to a life of nautical adventure full of many wonders. Lord Akbari, who does not consider Sinbad's brother's death to be sufficient payment of the blood debt, continues to pursue Sinbad.
