Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated is the eleventh installment of Hanna-Scooby-Doo Barbera's animated series, and the first not to air on Saturday mornings. The series is produced by Warner Bros. Animation and Cartoon Network, and it aired on Cartoon Network in the United States on April 5, 2010, with the next twelve episodes continuing and the first episode re-airing on July 12, 2010. The series ended on April 5, 2013 after two seasons and fifty-two episodes, with twenty-six episodes per season. Mystery Incorporated returns to the early days of Scooby and the gang, when they were still investigating mysteries in their hometown, albeit it contains numerous references to past incarnations of the franchise, including many cases and creatures from the original Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! The series takes a satirical approach to the original Scooby-Doo formula, with more bizarre technology, skills, and settings making up each villain's story, and a different spin on the famous "meddling youngsters" remark at the end of each episode. In stark contrast to this are two features never before seen in a Scooby-Doo series: a serial format with an extended story arc involving many dark plot elements treated with near-total seriousness, and continuing relationship tension between the protagonists.
