Rogue
The plot of "Rogue" centers on Grace, an undercover detective who is morally and emotionally disturbed and who is troubled by the notion that her own activities contributed to the death of her son. Grace's investigation into the events surrounding the murder is made more difficult by the fact that she has a forbidden connection with Jimmy, the boss of the criminal organization that may or may not have been involved in the killing. "Rogue" is an intelligent and deep character-driven thriller that investigates themes such as bereavement, identity, familial ties, second chances, and redemption. Not only do Grace and Jimmy fight with who they are, but they also struggle with who they want to be in the future. Both cross the line ethically, emotionally, and sexually, which results in disastrous outcomes for their own lives as well as the lives of others around them.
