TvB Hong Kong's No Regrets is a 2010 Lee Tim-shing-produced television drama. When it was first broadcast, it ran for 32 episodes between October 18 and November 28, 2010. This season's final two installments aired simultaneously on November 28, 2010. Rosy Business, the second-highest rated show on Hong Kong television in 2009 after the award-winning Rosy Business, has a companion show, No Regrets. One of two TVB productions to mark the channel's 43rd anniversary, the other being Gun Metal Grey, both of which were the first Hong Kong dramas to be broadcast live in English subtitles. A triad family and the Canton police force are the focus of No Regrets, an epic World War II drama set in the Republic of China in the late 1930s to late 1940s. The Chinese title of No Regrets translates to "Veiled Heroine, Ruthless Hero: Righteous Sea, Heroic Passion," which refers to both the tumultuous period of war and the complicated connection shared by the two major characters, Cheng Kau-mui and Lau Sing. Eleven TVB Anniversary Awards were given to the show and its cast, with four of them going to the show and cast. In addition to Tang's Best Actress award, Lai won Best Actor, Fala Chen won Best Supporting Actress, Mak Cheung-ching won Best Supporting Actor, and Raymond Wong was named Most Improved Male Artiste. All four Mingpao Weekly awards for television programs were given to No Regret in addition to a nomination for the first Shanghai Television Festival by a Hong Kong TV drama and two supporting actor prizes at the Asian Television Awards.
