Night Court is an American television situation comedy that ran on NBC from January4, 1984 until May31, 1992. Young and unconventional Judge Harold T. "Harry" Stone presided over the night shift of a Manhattan court. It was created by Reinhold Weege, who previously worked on Barney Miller in the 1970s and 1980s.
