The comedy follows the antics of "Thermoman," played by Ardal O'Hanlon in the first five seasons and James Dreyfus in the sixth. John Stroud directed regularly. In the UK, digital channel Gold reruns the show, but the last season hasn't aired. PBS and BBC America aired it in the US. UKTV reran the first three seasons in Australia, while BBC Entertainment did so in Scandinavia.
