Men Behaving Badly

Simon Nye developed and wrote the British sitcom Men Behaving Badly. It shows how Gary Strang and his roommates, Dermot Povey and Tony Smart, live their lives. In 1992, ITV was the first to show it. There were a total of six series, plus a Christmas special and three last episodes that were put together to make the feature-length "last orders." The show was shot in and around Ealing, which is in west London. The last scene of the sixth season was shot at the Cerne Abbas giant. The setting, on the other hand, seems to be South London, and the word "Surrey" comes up a lot. Hartswood Films made it, and ITV and Thames Television worked together to make the first two seasons. They also helped make the third series and later ones that aired on the BBC. Men Behaving Badly became a big hit after it was moved to BBC1 after the watershed. During the BBC's 60th anniversary celebrations in 1996, it was chosen as the best sitcom in BBC history. It also came in sixteenth place in the 2004 BBC2 poll to find Britain's best sitcom. It also won the Comedy Award for best ITV comedy and the first National Television Award for Situation Comedy.
