Max Steel

Based on the Mattel action figure of the same name, Max Steel is a CGI-animated science fiction-action series that initially aired from February 25, 2000 to January 15, 2002. Max Steel aired for three seasons and a total of thirty-five episodes, with a target demographic of young boys aged eight to twelve. From 2004 to 2012, direct-to-DVD films maintained the presence of the main character. Nonetheless, only the first film maintained series continuity. The continuity was adjusted after Endangered Species. The only film to be released in the United States was "Endangered Species," with subsequent releases occurring in Latin America. The voice actors for the series featured Chi McBride and Christian Campbell, the older brother of Neve Campbell, as well as well-known athletes like Tony Hawk. After the demise of Netter Digital and Foundation Imaging, Mainframe Entertainment assumed responsibility for the production of the third season and the films. The final episode, "Truth Be Told," was broadcast on January 15, 2002. Max Steel was the first computer-generated Kids' WB series to air. Currently, a reboot airs on Disney XD. However, personalities and plotlines have been altered or eliminated altogether.
