Lovers
Lovers is a South Korean television series in which Kim Jung-eun and Lee Seo-jin feature as a plastic surgeon and a mobster who fall in love despite their differences. It ran for 20 episodes on SBS from November 8, 2006 to January 11, 2007, on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 21:55. It's the third and last installment in Kim Eun-sook and Shin Woo-"Lovers" chul's trilogy. Lovers was shot on location in China's Hainan Island, unlike the preceding installments Lovers in Paris and Lovers in Prague, which were partially shot in Europe. The stage drama Turn Around and Leave by Lee Man-hee inspired the 1998 blockbuster film A Promise starring Jeon Do-yeon and Park Shin-yang.
