Little Mosque on the Prairie is a Canadian sitcom developed by Zarqa Nawaz and produced by WestWind Pictures that aired on the CBC. The filming took place in Toronto, Ontario, and Indian Head, Saskatchewan. The Dawn Breakers International Film Festival in Zurich chose and screened the series in 2009. The CBC aired the series finale of Little Mosque on the Prairie on April 2, 2012. Hulu announced in May 2012 that it would begin showing the series under the moniker Little Mosque in the summer of 2012. The series will premiere in syndication in the United States on Pivot in August 2013.
