Lexx
Lexx is a science fiction television series that follows the exploits of a mismatched collection of people onboard the organic spacecraft Lexx. They journey through two universes and come to planets, including one that is a spoof of Earth. The show is a co-production between Canada and Germany, with sponsorship from Channel 5 in the United Kingdom. In January2000, the Sci Fi Channel bought the series from Salter Street Films and began airing American audiences versions of Season 2 episodes. Salter Street Films, which was acquired by Alliance Atlantis later, co-produced Lexx. Lexx broadcast on the Alliance Atlantis-owned Showcase network in Canada. The majority of the series was shot in Halifax and Berlin, with some additional locations in Iceland, Bangkok, and Namibia.
