Kiznaiver
The anime takes place in a city called Sugomori City, a make-believe version of Tokyo, Japan. Noriko Sonosaki announces to Katsuhira Agata, a classmate, "You have been picked to be a Kiznaiver." Students who have quite different lifestyles and personalities have been bonded to Katsuhira through the Kizuna System because of their shared traumas. The Kizuna System is an imperfect system for implementing world peace that unites people via their wounds. The term "Kiznaiver" refers to anyone who is a part of this network. Systemic wound transmission occurs when one of the Kiznaivers is infected with a disease. Despite being developed on reclaimed ground, Sugomori City is losing residents. Katsuhira and the others dwell in this town, and the story takes place there..
