Kim's Convenience
The Kims, a Korean-Canadian family who owns a convenience shop in downtown Toronto, tell their amusing and heartfelt story. Mr. and Mrs. Kim ('Appa' and 'Umma') relocated to Toronto in the 1980s and started up shop near Regent Park. They have two grown children, Jung and Janet. Jung and Appa had a dispute when he was16, and Jung left home. Since then, the father and son have been alienated.
