Kemono Jihen
When a collection of animal bodies that rot away after a solitary evening start showing up in a remote hill town, Inugami, an investigator from Tokyo who specializes in the occult, is phoned call to investigate.
While working the situation, he befriends an odd boy who operates in the field daily as opposed to going to school. Shunned by his peers and nicknamed "Dorotab?" after a yokai that stays in the mud, he aids Inugami reveal the truth behind the killings-- however supernatural pressures go to job, and while Dorotab? is just a label, it could not be the only aspect of the boy that isn't human.
