Jason and the Argonauts

The classic myth of Jason and the Golden Fleece is the inspiration for Jason and the Argonauts. Jason witnesses his father's brutal deposement and murder at a young age at the hands of his uncle Pelias. Twenty years later, Jason returns home to claim his rightful place as king, but Pelias orders his execution, forcing Jason to embark on a perilous quest to find the legendary Golden Fleece in order to save himself. So Jason assembles a motley crew of men and embarks on the Argos. This Hallmark Production was developed as a two-part mini-series event, with Jason London as Jason and Jolene Blalock as Medea.
