The story takes set in the city of Nagasaki, where a small element of magic is still present in everyday life.. Hiromi Tsukishiro is a 17 year girl from a family of witches who was born without the ability to perceive color. Kohaku, a powerful witch who pities her granddaughter's destiny, sends Hitomi back in time to the year 2018 out of concern for her wellbeing. Through her interactions with her 17-year-old grandmother and the members of her club, Hitomi's development as a human being is depicted.
