Inspector Gadget

Inspector Gadget is an animated television series about the exploits of a clumsy, dim-witted cyborg investigator dubbed lnspector Gadget – a person with numerous bionic devices implanted in his body. Dr. Claw, the leader of the nefarious "M.A.D." organization, is Gadget's greatest adversary. This is the first DIC Entertainment cartoon to be syndicated. It originally aired from 1983 to 1986 and lasted in syndication through the late 1990s. It continues to air globally in reruns with great success. Companies from France, Canada, the United States, Taiwan, and Japan developed the series. The animation work was outsourced to international firms including Tokyo Movie Shinsha in Japan and Cuckoo's Nest Studio in Taiwan. It was the first animated television program to be shown in stereo.
