Important Things with Demetri Martin is a sketch-variety show that ran on Comedy Central and was hosted by comedian Demetri Martin. Each episode looked at a single theme, the "important thing," such as time, power, control, or money. All of the sketches, short vignettes, animated segments, and stand-up comedy were loosely connected to the theme of the episode. The show was made by Jon Stewart's Busboy Productions, and it features stand-up comedy, prop comedy, musical comedy, and sketches that Martin has already done. Jon Stewart took an active part in editing the first few episodes.
